Hello readers,
Melville took a Shakespearean turn in this week’s chapters, swerving into some strange and dense territory, while also giving us a lot to chew on and digest. I struggled to make sense of it at times (Chapter 40!) but also still enjoyed the ride overall. We got our first real introduction to Ahab, displayed in all his charisma and madness.
