I’m really excited about these! Thanks for posting the schedules how you do too… I write them out on post-its that I put on the inside front cover of each book to follow along. Then, I have two bookmarks in each book — one for where I am and one for where I need to get to by the end of the week. I love the feeling of accomplishment I get as I move through each week. 🙏🏼

I mark the end of each week's reading with a sticky tab and I always read them in week-long chunks. :)

Fantastic idea! I may steal it as I have a tendency to read too far ahead...

Absolutely! It’s a little silly, but it’s become such an enjoyable little ritual to sit down each Sunday and move the bookmarks ahead in all the books I’m reading. Highly recommend :)

I just started doing that and it's the best! The difference is that I use a long 1/2" wide grosgrain ribbon, cut long enough so that, when doubled, it hangs 3" below the book length at each end. I then tie a knot at each end. I like that I can flip back the ribbon to pick up where I left off and the back ribbon easily stays in place when tucked into the center of the book. It's similar to bible ribbon markers but mine is wider. I just need to find a solution for when I read eBooks, though.

Oh my gosh, RIBBON!! 🤯 That’s such a good idea! And I love how that likely stays in the book way better than the bookmarks. I’ll have to try this, thanks for the suggestion. I love getting to collaborate and hear how everyone structures things!

I had heard of bell hooks but I had never read her books. I'm enjoying All About Love so much that I'm getting ahead of the reading schedule. I had to put down this lovely book to pick up Invisible Man. I'm thoroughly enjoying my reading journey this year..and it's only the end of January!
